We had some unfortunate circumstances happen within the family, which caused us to celebrate Easter in Tennessee this year. So to make a happy ending to our trip, I made a cake for my Grandmother! We needed a little cheer to go along with our visit, and she was all smiles when she saw it! :) Love you Grandma!

French Vanilla cake with buttercream filling and iced in buttercream. The steak and potato are french vanilla cake as well, covered in fondant and hand painted. The asparagus is fondant, hand painted and cut. 'Sourcream' on the potato is buttercream and the 'butter' is a square piece of fondant with yellow tinted corn syrup 'melting' off of it :) 'Pepper' on the steak is black sprinkles.

My two little angels got baptized yesterday, and this was their cake I made for them. It was a new experiment, top layer is chocolate fudge with chocolate ganache and the bottom layer was vanilla almond with white chocolate ganache. I purposely made it for family to receive honest opinions :) I think the overall opinions were a "yummmmy!" :)

A long time friend of mine is soon to be welcoming into the world a little boy! This is a cake for one of her showers! Blue pregnant belly :) 'h' for their last name, they haven't quite decided on a name for the little guy yet! Such a hard decision! :) Chest is vanilla almond cake with a white chocolate ganache filling, and the belly is double chocolate fudge with a chocolate ganache filling. Covered in fondant with a shimmer for the 'pregnant glow'. :)
My little man turned 2, and we finally had all the family in town to celebrate with! Baseball cake, of course, for my little sports obsessed guy! :) Vanilla almond top with chocolate fudge bottom. Grass is buttercream and 'dirt' is graham cracker crumbs. He wanted the baseball of course. And who needs a fork anyways!? :)

Chocolate fudge cake covered in chocolate buttercream and white almond cake covered in buttercream with fondant accents. A surprise for a girl who just turned 16! Her friends and mother threw her a surprise party! Cake colors to match invitations and party theme. Happy 16th Kelsey :)
